Dr. Rajiv Ranjan

Dr. Rajiv Ranjan is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad where he has earned a Ph.D. in Innovation Management, Strategy and Public Policy. He also has a MS in Business Analytics from University of Texas, Austin, USA. He has a Bachelor’s degree with distinction in Electronics Engineering with specialization in AI and Bioinformatics.
He comes with more than 12+ long experience in academic, government and corporate settings serving international and national academic institutions of repute such as John Hopkins University, Liverpool John Moores University, IIM Ahmedabad, IIHMR University to name a few, global corporations such as Ernst & Young and Delphi – a subsidiary of General Motors and having a stint at the Rajasthan Secretariat advising the Government on their Budgetary Planning. He is also a Guest Faculty in the e-ITEC program housed at IIT Delhi on “Strategic Marketing of Government Schemes and Policies” delivered to the developing world across 3 continents. He has lived and worked in several countries such as United Kingdom, Australia, United States, Canada, Japan, Afghanistan, Maldives and his nationality India. He is one among the first 100 certified academicians in India for proficiency in Traditional Knowledge Systems, including Medicinal Systems, Mathematics, Visual and Performing Arts, Architecture etc. by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. He is also a Social Hero Excellency Awardee in Bihar Leadership Festival celebrated in honour of our first president, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
He has worked closely with Ministry of Education (formerly Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India especially during his time at IIHMR University, Jaipur and IIM Ahmedabad in drafting, feedback, and revision of National Education Policy (NEP), 2020. He also contributed to development of entrepreneurial environment and start-up culture in India and supported the enablement of first robotics-based tinkering laboratory for school children from extremely backward socio- economic background by serving as Mentor to Atal Incubation Centre at Bihar Vidyapith and Atal Tinkering Laboratory at School of Creative Learning, Patna respectively under the aegis of NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission. He is also a Board Member of Half-Circles Media Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow and Mentor & Business Advisor, SuMaya AaiT LLC, USA.
He has mentored thousands of people in their career building thus creating successful academicians, civil servants, corporate leaders and development sector professionals. He believes in practicumbased mentoring and living multiple lives nurturing the dreams of his mentees. He is a young and dynamic academic leader whose leadership philosophy is - “TRUE LEADERS DO NOT CREATE FOLLOWERS; THEY ENABLE CREATION OF MORE LEADERS.” He has contributed to titles such as SMALL BIG BANG on diehard entrepreneurship, WHISPERING BRICKS and his upcoming in-press book “DIAMOND CREATORS” is an ode to the teaching community apart from being a reputed researcher and consultant.
