Dr. Firoz Husain is an Assistant Professor at Department of Business Management, Integral Business School, Integral University, Lucknow, where he completed his Ph.D. in Finance and qualified for the JRF (UGCNET). He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from STEP-HBTI, Kanpur, India, and has over 15 years of academic experience. With more than 20 publications in esteemed national and international journals and books, many of which are indexed in SCOPUS, WoS, and ABDC, his dedication to research is evident. His passion for teaching has enabled him to mentor hundreds of students, guiding them in their career paths and fostering their development as successful academicians.

He is skilled in curriculum development, classroom instruction, and research initiatives. His experience with diverse student populations from various socio-cultural backgrounds, including international students, has equipped him to provide individualized support, fostering an inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and writing skills. His practical experience has further honed his analytical abilities and enabled him to tackle complex tasks effectively. In his extensive academic career, he teaches a range of subjects, including Financial, Cost, and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives and Commodity Markets, and Sustainable Finance. As the departmental coordinator for the postgraduate program, he has significantly contributed to the design, development, and evaluation of courses and programs in alignment with the New Education Policy under the Choice Based Credit System. He also possesses a strong foundation in developing course materials, ensuring quality assurance, and overseeing examinations. Moreover, he has played a crucial role in managing the departmental budget, overseeing the Finance Club, and implementing the Mentor-Mentee Program, all aimed at promoting student growth and career success. As a proponent of experiential learning, he has supervised internships, organized industrial visits, and facilitated student competitions and community service initiatives. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Lucknow Management Association (LMA) and the Indian Accounting Association (IAA). With exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills, He is committed to fostering an inclusive academic environment while leading strategic initiatives in education and research.
